good point.
you're clever.
i agree with you.

a phrase like this should pop up automatically after everything you write .

what a good idea. that should make you feel good.

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

I feel good when people start threads about me. Thanks Kenny.

You want me to start one for you in return?

wipey  said about 3 years ago:

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

Don't tell Kenny to fuck up. He is human, and he needs to be loved.

Just like everybody else does.

Kenny Burger  said about 3 years ago:

yes please modi. i will read it in nine months time.

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

I don't like naming people in thread titles. Can I call it something cryptic?

Kenny Burger  said about 3 years ago:

good point modi, threads are so good-feeling. you're clever. i agree with you.

Kenny Burger  said about 3 years ago:

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

what tool would you purchase (if you had too) to dig up an old garden to reinvigorate it?

shovel, pik, something else?

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

Spade and fork. But why are you digging it up? Just pile stuff on top of it.

Block  said about 3 years ago:

IS your roof leaking?
How was Saturday?

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

No, the roof appears to be fixed in a reasonably permanent fashion.

Saturday was good. Only one attempted gate crasher, despite the street being chock full of drunken cunts.

Who the fuck travels to Richmond on GF day to watch footy at the pub, when every pub has the footy on in the whole freaking state?

de.foxus  said about 3 years ago:

sorry i didn't make it, dude. i had belly illnesses and had to preserve energy for parklife yesterday.

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

It's alright, I thought you had just passed out somewhere en route

de.foxus  said about 3 years ago:

i actually didn't touch a drop of booze on saturday, as much as it looked like it was going to be a huge one.

hungry jacks for dinner on friday night = yukky saturday

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

Really? That's a bit shit. Sue the fuckers.

elaine  said about 3 years ago:

hey modi, how does the electoral college vote work?

de.foxus  said about 3 years ago:

meh, i should have known better, or at least held out for a kebab.

elaine  said about 3 years ago:

it's close to ''The 'G'' and maybe the proximity makes it feel more like you are part of the game.

OR

people are idiots.

I went to a hen's night.

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

I looked this up last time they had an election...

Basically, the registered voters vote for a college of electors, who each vote for the President and the VP, and the number of votes in each college is set by the population of the state they represent.

Pretty shit system, I reckon.

elaine  said about 3 years ago:

is that supposed to represent the people who don't vote?

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

The people who don't vote don't deserve representation.

But honestly, I have no idea why they run things that way.

kandos  said about 3 years ago:

But honestly, I have no idea why they run things that way.

the idea of representation, in the classical american political sense, is based upon taxation rather than formal engagement in any electoral process.

so, in essence, it is to afford some measure of equality in representation for those who exercise their right not to have their say.

but yes, it is dumb and in no way provides any real oversight.

charlesincharge  said about 3 years ago:

''But honestly, I have no idea why they run things that way.''

its in the almighty constitution

Modi  said about 3 years ago:

I realise what authority it's based on, it just doesn't seem to have a lot of relevance to the modern USA.

charlesincharge  said about 3 years ago:

that's the constitution in a nutshell.
