thank YOU for making the music. and thank YOU for having an mp3.com.au account with so much STUFF on it!
Yep.... Thursday week, MANY ARE HERE will be launching their debut EP at the Civic Hotel. This will give you all an opportunity to purchase the shiny little thing straight from the artists huh? So bring a whole bunch of friends to share the night with us.
We should let you know of the audial and visual supports that we have confirmed.
PIERS TWOMEY (Formerly known as Alec Eiffel) will commence the evening’s build with a set of “understated noise” through guitar and voice – truly sweetness for the ears.
Structural support will be supplied by DJ ADRIAN LAHOUD.
As a visual component to our set we have asked //JACKOVICH.NET to render projections upon us.
Please spread the word!!!
Cheers,
Daz.

New review
MANY ARE HERE - Many Are Here (EP)
There's a strong ''Lamb Lies Down On Broadway'' period Genesis feel, aesthetically at least, to this record, though at other moments there's the insistent downstroke guitar of early Cure and the harmonies of the wonderful yet sadly forgotten Christians, particularly on the opening track, MEIBO. The more ambient side of Peter Gabriel is to the fore on REIGNED and especially RED & ORNATE, while the nearly eight minute WESIR delves deeper into the emotive possibilities of subdued exploratory soundscapes, darkly churning, tensely meditative, distantly intimate. I'm clearly looking forward to a full album.
