PERTH.
Tonight (June 24), The Wednesday Society will be launching our very first CD. It is only a single, for a little rock song we wrote called 'Red Means Go'. We recorded to analogue tape at Begerk! with Al Smith behind the controls and this is what came out of it. Also on the single we had our good friend Fenris (Maddest Kings Alive) remix another one of our songs called 'Can Can', and for good measure we thought we'd include our old promo recording of said song on the single aswell.
Helping us launch this little nugget will be Tobias Tresise, Hooper's Store. The Surefire Midnights and The Silents.
Entry will be $10 or $15 with the CD. There will also be T-shirts and Badges available.
Following the launch we will be embarking upon a regional WA tour with Bit By Bats, and then....
MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY.
We will be hitting your shores mid July to show you what you don't already know.
Thursday July 20 'Shake Some Action' @ 161, Prahan. w/ La Strada.
Friday July 21 @ Rob Roy, Melbs. w/ The Hovercrafts.
Saturday July 22 'Starfuckers' @ Club 77, Sydney. w/ Batrider.
