Mess me round and I'll nail you to the wall, sunshine.
Oh my god you posted Tosh. Ha.
do you reckon Sgt. dale (smithy) smith will get off?
eventually.
I hope so.
I really like Smivvy.
seriously, it's about time they killed off DS Nixon. god she is a horribly obnoxious character. the way i would get rid of her is by having her get kidnapped by a psychotic pseudo-necrophilic lesbian serial killer, who slowly chops her up whilst fucking her with a big black rubber cock. they could totally stretch it out over a couple of months...!

Or just give her another packet of fags...

Ha Ha! Proudest day of my life!
FUCK! Best to do this shit wgen you're sober...
And it still doesn't work. REG!!!!
Probably for the best...
By the way, did anyone watch the rerun of The Bill Uncovered: Des and Reg tonight? Horrible. I don't know how anyone could have thought that series was a good idea.
Goddamn goingblank! I thought I'd escaped through my own drunken ineptitude. But thanks anyway. June says hi...
I really should have been arrested for that haircut anyway. It was about 3 years ago...
paraphernalia74, I am jealous with rage. Goddamn.
ok. I missed a few episodes and I'm wondering how Dale ''Smivvy'' Smith got out of jail.

The changes were caused when ITV cut most of its drama budget
In fact, they ceased making any drama (other than soaps) before the 9pm watershed
The Bill only survived after a major reboot, and a change to a single weekly episode format for a later screening time
Now he's superintendent he has to wear uniform for official duties like press conferences.
and yes. freakin weird.
Yeah but all the previous superintendents were in uniform the whole time, not just press conferences etc.
true. has a CID member ever become super before? I thought that was weird in itself.
Axed! Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
Fuck! Does no one care??????
Axed?! To make way for an Eddie Olosunje spinoff, right? RIGHT?!
I too was outraged about the crappy soundtracking, and I too am heartbroken over the news of its axing... :*(
The Bill died ten years ago when they brought in the East Enders script writers.
Sad, yeah. But it would be sadder had it been good in the last 10 years.
The Bill died with Tosh
Thank god.
Final episode was last night
Not much of note, except a brief echo of the old end credits as an opening shot, and the final speech at the press conference
Fans may be better off searching out the show which followed - Farewell The Bill
every episode of the Bill was exactly the same -
chav looking kid getting chased through lanes behind housing towers or across grim urban wasteland and is eventually cornered by a few plods
''you're nicked sunshine!''
''i ain't dun nuffink guv' honest. i don't know nuffink.''
''you're coming down to sunhill you are''
chav kids mum comes flying out of her unit
''leave 'im alone, 'ees a good boy he ain't dun nuffink!''
''back up luv, you're boy's been selling hot car stereos 'aven't ya Tommy?''
''i ain't dun nuffink guv' honest. i don't know nuffink about no car stereos.''
'''ee's a good boy!''
etc etc
repeat twice weekly x 27 years or whatever it was....
That is funny, actually. I'm staying out of this thread to avoid spoilers.
The Bill died ten years ago when they brought in the East Enders producers. Thank god they have finally put it to rest.
Life just isn't the same without it. Sigh.
Tosh still lives in my house
