Dug out shine a light last night, havent spun these guys in a while, what a fucking record.
Anyone know what they are doing at the mo? id love for them to tour here. Anyone ever seen em live?

Good musical taste around here
I've got 'shine a light' and the one before it. The singer reminds me of girls against boys. I like them.
I'm not a massive fan but I'll take 'em over 'behind crimson eyes' shtick any day of the week.
totally different schtick is your hearing impaired?
Self titled is good, shine a light is fucken great. I havent given tournament of hearts much of a run yet
read the sarcasm dude..
oh maybe i have a visual sarcasm impairment!
just maybe..
NEW VID
thanks man
these guys have a 7'' out tomorrow, the songs are on their myspace and pretty fantastic, easy money is much more psych than anything they've done previous. awesomeness.
*it's pretty fantastic
that url failed pretty hard... http:\www.myspace.com/constantines
man i give up
seen these guys supporting sloan in vancouver, that are pretty fucken great live!
new album 'Kensington Heights' is floating around.
why gmail when you've got google?
So Kensington Heights is still pretty badass. RAWK.
massive love from here. my fave band for a while now having seen them play live in Brooklyn in '04.
Kensington Heights is bolder, more ragged and fresher sounding than their last one (Tournament of Heights), but i'll always love Shine A Light most. wish they'd play here in London soon...
i just found this quasi-lame interview with them.
''hearts''
OMG!!!! Their myspace says they are playing ATP here on the 16th!!! i had no idea... and i have tickets. dang.
best news eva. EVA.
feel it.
nightime anytime
seeing them in Montreal in a few weeks. shall be rad
Good to see some Constantines love here. I was feeling like I was the only person who dug them for a while. Shine a Light was a great record and it's a shame so few people heard it.
Shame the album after it was so ordinary though.
haha, good move teaming up with Feist on the 'Islands in the Stream' cover, oh, just in time for Kensington Heights.
No love?
They have some awesome stuff, with Shine a Light probably being their best.
I think everyone in this thread is in agreement that Shine a Light was their best record.
Hmm. Yes.
Well, carry on then.
I was listening to the self-titled album the other day. I think it just shades Shine a Light, so fuckin' raw. I'm convinced that one day it will be properly recognised as the classic it is.
