Washuzan Highland Park in Okayama
Highly recommended!
I remember going to this place in year 10, it's not scary at all and the rides are full of fun.
And they do a crazy dance in that dome, pictured in one of the backgrounds of the pictures.
Up until a few days ago, I couldn't find any pictures on the net about this places.
Kristy. I'll be there from Thursday. Cool parties that I know of so far are
Fancyhim on 7th Feb (have you seen the movie Party Monster....this party looks like those parties)
SWEET DREAMS and TOKYO SCHOOL NIGHT collaboration party! on Feb.13. This is a Valentines Day themed party, my friends the Spank Girls are dj'ing.
VANITY and Dropsnap collaboration party! on Feb.20.
To get an idea of what the parties are like go here, and here
Does anyone know a good ryokan near kyoto? i was thinking of trying one of them while im there..
and with the whole onsen thing... do you have to be in the nud? im a little shy with things like that..
Yeah you've gotta get naked
do you have to be in the nud? im a little shy with things like that.
You'd be the only one there who cares. No-one's looking at you.
Depends, there are a bunch of Onsens that have outdoor mixed-gender non-nudie options.
Go to chikan train
and tell people your name is chikan san
thanks for the heads up.. just googled 'chikan train' i didn't realise i was likely to be rubbed up against on the train..
act like hard gay
do you think if i wear a black belt they'll leave me alone :)
yep - theres a cheap one just near Gion, tatami, shared bathroom and the room we had allowed us to climb out on to the roof for beers. I cant remember the name, but if you go to the information centre at Kyoto train station (the tourist info place is on about the 7th floor), they can find it and book it for you.
The other one is a little expensive and because it's in the lonely planet, you dont feel like you discovered it or anything, but I always stay there in kyoto - the Three Sisters Annex. Yamada-san who runs the place with her sisters is so bloody nice it's amazing - it's like having your own japanese grandmother. Each day when you leave, she will help you with wherever you want to go, and even help you learn some japanese. She also says cool things like ''Itterashai'' when you are leaving and ''Okaeiri'' when you get home, so it's almost like staying with your long lost japanese family. This place is on the very edge of the forest and right next to Nazenji
Ahh, I need to go back to Kyoto soon.
anata wa onnani mi tego desi
