I want teen comedies tonight too!!

PaulyG used to let me get them all the time, but we haven't had a shit comedy in ages.

I think it's time.

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

Hey, I'm all for teen comedies but really... quality control is essential in this genre.

whosgotthecrack?  said about 5 years ago:

sisterhood of the travelling pants isn't nearly as bad as it sounds

it's rather sweet actually

though that's more a teen girls bonding film.. does that count?

angelic_layer  said about 5 years ago:

hehe

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

Loved 'Heathers' but I didn't like 'Pump Up The Volume' much.

'The Breakfast Club', 'Ferris Bueller', 'Pretty In Pink' are the obvious classics. 'Bring It On' is ace, as is 'Mean Girls'. If you like a bit of horrog/gore, 'Ginger Snaps' is much better than you'd think to look at the cover.

angelic_layer  said about 5 years ago:

I don't know any that are actually good....er..

____________-

Yeah, but every now and then, you can go for the complete trash and it turns out ok (about 5% of the time). The ones which usually look ok are jsut what you expect them to be.

My favourite recent, product placement type teen movie is Eurotrip because Dawn from Buffy is in it, and everyone hates her. And Just friends, because Anna Faris is brilliant in it...maybe Harold and Kumar, you've got drugs, you've got a love story, you've got DOOGIE HOUSER!!! (I don't know how to spell his name, uh..) who is off his chops and it's pretty much worth it for that. I hear the Jewish guys from that film are getting a spin off movie?

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

I think it's "Howser".

And I agree, Eurotrip and Harold & Kumar aren't too bad.

Peaches  said about 5 years ago:

That was the funniest spelling fuck-up ever...I'm studying english for christs sake.. ; ).

It's my first day..I just joined M & N cus nishiki told me it's what the cool kids are doing.

fethehellcat  said about 5 years ago:

My favs are

  • crazy/beautiful (shutup it's good)
  • The Breakfast Club
    and last but not least,
  • Angus

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

nishiki knows best. She tells all the cool kids what do to.

Peaches  said about 5 years ago:

Hehe, I would know, she's been my best friend for like 6 years now..plus she's pretty good looking.

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

CaptainLeSnak  said about 5 years ago:

Oh wow I remember that Angus movie, I think I even have the soundtrack - Weezer are all over it.

It was about a fat kid who was full of hope.

muscles  said about 5 years ago:

muscles  said about 5 years ago:

PaulsGrandfather  said about 5 years ago:

YAY!!!

blake3030  said about 5 years ago:

that's a long night of movies, muscles. shouldn't you be working on your music? ;)

I like Anna Faris

muscles  said about 5 years ago:

does anybody remember an online quiz game called 'you dont know jack?'

cause i used to play it, and i remember fargo was advertised in between questions, and i saw it in the store and thought i should see it, and that explains the last movie choice

Forgive me to this day, of tresures, lots and lots

Forgivness is more than saying sorry

forgiveness means excepting peoples flaws

to forgive is divine so lets have a glass of wine and have make up sex until the end of time(time time time time)

forgiveness does not mean compromising

Lets forgive and forget
and solve this african bet.
just like the Chesher cat,
who says,"Rarw! you're running on a dime! (dime, dime, dime, dime)

forgiveness (x7)

we are missing THE WHOLE TEEN MOVIE PARODY GENRE!!!
"not another teen movie" is one of my favourite films of all time. compulsory preparatory viewing for this film includes "10 things i hate about you", "loser", "pretty in pink" and "scream".

the latest lampoon films i would give a wide berth to, but "not another teen movie" will change your life.
everyone's seen the scary movie series, right?
get really stoned first. not by any means necessary, but fun.

oh my god, and how are people forgetting "DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR??"

Cranky Hanky  said about 5 years ago:

where's my two dollars.
check the paper boy from better off dead in back to the beach... not a teener movie as such but it features a foxy young lori loughlan, pee wee herman, don adams, dick dale, fishbone with frankie and annette.

albert....  said about 5 years ago:

The Stoned Age is a seriously under recognised B-grade teen party trashy wastoid movie.
