Hey there, anyone know anything about this 'festival' that is apparently happening in Sydney on the weekend? Ghosts of Television are playing but they have no other actual useful information on the site. Please advise. thanks
it's supposed to be kept kinda quite, cause y'know. so don't post the address or nufin.
ill PM ya.
i want to go to this too...is it a house party or something and aren't nunchukka playing it as well? haven't been able to stop playing their new album since getting it at the gig on saturday...great to finally have a song like door on record!
hey.. any details on this.. ? heard tis going to be 'the rads'.
Can I get the address and details please?
Can someone let me know if Nunchukka are playing? so i can send them some copies of live album to sell to ya's
I understand them keeping it all under wraps.. it was canceled at the last minute last year ay.. at that Aviary House on the south end of King St...
'council restrictions'
pm me details too. especially which bands are playing.
there's a list of bands on myspace somewhere, unless it's last years.
Regular John, The Holy Soul, The Laurels, Atrocities, Disbelievers, Straight Arrows, The Physical Act of Love, Moonmilk, Circle Pit, Talons, Ghosts of Television, Dead China Doll, Dead Farmers.
It really is a lot like the sun, this festy. Hard to find, not certain whether it will actually even happen...
Attention psych scene: NEW IMAGERY. NOW!!
that looks a lot like last year's lineup...
well i thought it was Tired Hands, not Moonmilk playing. Tired Hands is Kel Moonmilk's solo stuff
that's an old lineup i think
12:00 - Regular John
11:30 - Holy Soul
11:00 - Dead China Doll
10:30 - Straight Arrows
10:00 - Atrocities
09:30 - Ghosts of Television
09:00 - The Laurels
08:30 - Pets w/ Pets
08:00 - Talons
07:30 - The Process
07:00 - Kirin J. Calinan
06:30 - Dead Farmers
06:00 - Circle Pit
05:30 - Tired Hands
no nunchukka.
anyone wants the details, pm me
bump
bump.. cause this looks awesome
saturday
Apparently they're ''Filtering'' attendees at the door. So wear your nice trousers and have a line ready, like ''I know Dave''.
I know they're having problems, but REALLY..
is it a house or warehouse thing? i'm pretty sure i haven't been to this address before
Assuming a warehouse... I hear Regular John's manager owns one or summink? But then again, I really don't know anything about this gig at all!

awesome..
It was a private party, right?
So why were the cops allowed in?
Anyway, that sniffer dog was dumb.
cops can do what they like
What's a warrant then?
they didn't enter the building.
Ah, yeahhhtheydid.
did they? i was standing near the entry when they came with the dogs, they kinda hesitated at the door and didn't go in. that must have been later
a couple of police did enter fairly late into it. i think that was when it all died off.
Nah, they were in when the bands were still playing, on more than one occasion. During Ghosts' set for sure, cause I remember making a lame arse joke about it, which I'm sure was really excellent, and which I'm incredibly bummed I can't remember.
I hope they saw the Laurels. I'd love to play a cop xmas party or similar one day.
you guys were awesome Transient!
i wanted to post some fancy photos but i'm a shit photographer. next time
you guys were awesome Transient! I would post some photos but the ones I took are terrible. maybe next time
oh dear, this website is confusing me
Aw, cheers shaun. Photography would just embarass both of us...
ARGH! DISAPPEARING POSTS!
Where am I?
STUPID ETHER!!
a legal thing - cops will still do what they want
i don't think they needed a warrant. there was a ranked inspector there, doesn't seem like they just stumbled across it.
i got some photos of the laurels but they're pretty average.
hmm - you think they knew ahead of time? that kinda sucks - they should have better things to do! someone needs to cause some real crime in this city!

I wonder if they have an officer whose job it is to scan MySpace and message boards like this trying to get information on underground gigs.
That would make for an awesome article.
DEAR OFFICER IN CHARGE OF ROCK, please email me!
I wonder if instead of an eagle or whatever, their badge has a picture of AC/DC with a big red circle and a cross through it.
