Has anyone else been getting strange results with their top albums? I'm know I've listened to a few albums heaps but they don't seem to show up. Yes, I am a complete last.fm nerd, all those lists and statistics!

of course, it has something to do with the fact that a few of my top albums don't have covers submitted, so they can't display them ... and last.fm makes it impossible to add photos/covers and shit .. cunce

i hate last.fm... it has stopped working for me and doesn't register anything... therefore, it feels the wrath of my hate.

yeah, i miss when m+n showed like this OCEAN of top album covers. my top 8 doesn't seem right to me - i guess since it is top 8 for all of the time i've been using last.fm, and not the past week...

I am in the same boat as you svelteslacks, I think iTunes 7 has mussed it all up. Not happy, I sent about 300 tracks last week and none of em showed up!

Still seem to be a few bugs in the site, too. I added an event, but all that comes up when you click on it is a page of spazzy broken code.

i'm told that the widgets are now flash and m+n profile wont allow for flash - previously they were dynamic gifs. bum poo fart

I've gone back to the old static gif. Liked it better anyway, and you can design your own etc.

There are ways to de-uglify last.fm using firefox add-ons. One suggested approach here. Naturally you can modify to your own preference.

I then customised my chart a little using the 'chart builder' (link on bottom right of same page) so it fits in the narrow column on the M+N profile page and doesn't get all re-sized and unreadable.

Oh yeah I forgot - don't use html, messandnoise won't recognise it. Just copy the image URL from the code last.fm gives you.
Then put the image in your 'about me' profile using markdown. ie.

i can get the recent listening to work, but still not the top weekly artists thing. how did you resize it msw? nothing i do seems to make it readable.

You used the chart builder, right? It allows you to change column width etc.
