kenneth is a nice oddball kind of character and tina fey is pretty funny as lemon. is channel 7 showing the second season yet?

I am done with the second season and that stopped half way through because of the writers strike. I think that will be the end of the show too which is a shame. I do love tina fey!

i don't think it rates that highly in the states, but the critics go wild for it. i hope the second season is as good as the first. i guess it's a nice kind of sitcom, sorta mary tyler mooresque with enough irreverent touches.
Do you reckon there's enough there to make a second season worthwhile? I don't know where else they can do besides the oft-trodden path of gimmicky guest stars every once in a while. As funny as many of the characters are, particularly Tracy Morgan and the Baldwin, I can see them getting pretty stale after too long.
I do hope I'm wrong. It's a fun show.
They were almost done with season 2 before the writers strike hit - i read an interview with Tina Fey where she said it would be pointless to come back and just make 5 more episodes. So she was going to start fresh and write a new show.
That was a couple of months ago - and yeah - season 2 wasn't rating so well. What they did shoot though (up to episode 11) is still pretty good - but yeah - it was starting to get samey.
oh really... damn... i thought there were a lot of characters to develope.
i've grown to like this show. i really wish it had more of an ongoing story arc though, it would make it so much better. something involving kenneth. every now and then it comes through with some great laughs, if it spent more time setting up for the big jokes, and less on the one liners, it would be a great show. (really i'm just looking for another arrested development)

its just annoying when the web is buzzing about 30 Rock or Avatar or a bunch of Adult Swim stuff or The Wire or the Sopranos or friggin DAILY SHOW and the only way i can watch it is downloading...

Quite funny, but a bit thin in places. Mind you Alec Baldwin is brilliant, as is the Kenneth character.

s2 came out yesterday, I got it last night at JB (haven't started watching yet). JB has a 20% off all DVD/CD sale until Sunday which made the price work out to $24 - bargain!
