Looks like it's at The Metro now (which appears to now be called The Palace just to make life confusing). Tickets go on sale this Friday. Can't decide whether to go or not. I missed them last time.

they weren't so hot in Melbourne last tour. they were awesome in Sydney though. so it goes.
i like all their stuff so not fussed about what they play. the moon & antarctica tracks and beforehand were the highlights though.

reports suggest the sound was abysmal yet again at the Metro/Palace and there was even a bit of biffo at the sound desk.

sound was great. it sounds shit if you're under the lower balcony, but everywhere else was great.
na, i was dead centre, about 10 metres back from the stage.
was still splattery shit.
I went on both balconies either side of the stage, on the floor at the sides, all balconies above the desk, and close to side of stage. Everywhere you weren't by the sounds. Sucks to be you.

was assured it's better than their live performances, but they didn't seem that crash hot anyway, regardless of the sound.
