cherish communication with your grandpa while he's still around. If he ets a bit boring, just set it to 'away' or say you're going to get some lunch/dinner/whatever. Too easy.

My grandparents don't even know how a computer works, so I don't have this problem haha.

I have the same problem with my nanna. I made the mistake of setting her up on MSN a couple of years ago. EVERY time I logged on she was online.

I have some cousins that spell really strangely... and my friend's wife.. and a dude from my old work who was getting really creepy... I don't feel bad about blocking them at all!

A friend of mine appears fairly regularly on MSN, and while her status continually changes, she is very rarely actually there. It's so annoying! I think she still has it set to automatically sign-in on her mother's computer, but also she ignores it on her own, or ignores messages from other people if she's talking to her boyfriend. As it's been a little hard to catch up with her lately anyway, it's very frustrating sending hello messages into the void!

This is annoying me so much that I think I'll have to block this person.
