red
Lindemans
the $3.99 ones.
or the $9.99 casks.
But really, Flying Fish do some good ones for relatively cheap, current fav.
Red or white?
jack daniels
if you want a good cheap local wine try Sticks. they do good reds and whites but their reds are best.
d'Arenberg. Never had a bad one. d'Arry's Original is awesome (grenache shiraz) as it the footbolt old vine shiraz.
I only whine when there is no beer.
HAHAHA!!!
Cheap wine and a three-day growth

Come-on, come-on, come-on
What TopherPlus said. Also, you can't go wrong with anything by Wynns (Coonawarra, not Spitfire).

Ohh thanks guys..i shall look into these suggestions. Fab.
you know cheap arse cleanskins are the healthiest though as they have no preservatives. some of them even taste great.

It's true. Some of them are great.
There was a really good 9 buck wine i got at vintage cellers darlo, it was soo good i bought another, now it sucks because i got so trashed that i can't remember what name it was
I can't even remember what the one I had on saturday night tasted like. All I remember is that I drank it quickly, so it must have been ok.
I once had a bottle of a red cleanskin and had the worst hangover ever.

I really like this 2010 Squealing Pig Pinot Noir from Otago

Sorry if my post sounded cunty, I wasn't have a go at you or your choice of wine. I am and was chilled 4 real.
Oyster Bay probably isn't the most popular brand btw. That'd be Jacob's Creek or something, I imagine. As usual, I am full of lies and deception.
going on a wine tour of the pyrenees tomorrow. in a limo.
i'm such an arsehole.
Yesterday I stocked up on:
Evans & Tate Classic White
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Pepperjack Shiraz
St Henri Claret (2006 vintage)
I am now broke. All wines highly recommended esp the Cloudy Bay and St Henri
does anyone know if you can get bosnian wine in sydney?
Bosnian wine is very cheap in Bosnia and very good, but I don't think it has a very big export market. I brought two bottles back, they are all gone and now I want more.
i would recommend Dalwhinnie's Eagles Nest to anyone. Despite the association with Hitler's holiday house, this wine is freaking good.
i also really liked Taltarni's reserve shiraz, their GSM, and their sparkling (not the brut).

All good mate :)
I really like the Nobilo Sauv Blanc. (NZ wine.) Yum.
Also vouch for Pepperjack Shiraz.
The Di Giorgio Family 2005 Shiraz is gobsmackingly good for the price.
Should be a pm but doesn't work on moby... Hey juice is there a tasting at seddon wine shop on sat? Could call in bit after lunch if you are round. Back noon tomoz so txt me then.
I don't think there is one? I didn't get a mail.
You can always stop by, pick up some goodness and do your own tasting at our house on the way through though........
Yeah good one. I have footy tix for sat if you fancy? Dome at 7.
ooohh, I'll let you know.... you can use ours as a base before and after if not.....
if you had $600 to buy one bottle of wine, what would it be?
i have to do this for a mate from a bet.
You can get a bottle of Grange for that price although you would probably not want to drink it for few years,
I would go for the 4 Litre Morris soft Dry Red. More bang for yr Buck
No matter how much a bottle of booze costs, it is essentially still just booze. The only purpose of booze is to get shitfaced so why waste your money being a pretentious yuppie??
because i'm a pretentious yuppie?
der.
You are doing it wrong.
it would be 8 bottle of Veuve
My all time fave bottle of wine would be a Greenock Creek Cornerstone Grenache (any year). Virtually impossible to find except at the cellar door (in Greenock in the Barossa) and then only a very limited release (in September) any given year so sells out quickly, BUT only about $30 a bottle and simply divine stuff!
It cellars magnificently if you have the patience to wait ten years before opening a bottle (like my brother) but also drinks amazingly well when first released (if you're like me and cant wait even a year).
There are fancier bottles of wine around (although you'll pay a couple of hundred and upwards for any vintage more than about ten years old) but I think this stuff is the shizzle.
Other lovely wines that are far more readily and widely available that I love are Henschke's Hill of Grace, Turkey Flat's Mourvedre (and their yummy fortified Pedro Ximénez), and Grant Burge's Abednego Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre - all delicious!!
Makes me miss home a bit
