i'm a fairly new fan to these guys. my friend introduced them to me a matter of days ago, and i really like it.

I saw them support Electrelane about a month ago with no prior listening knowledge. I am still trying to get my head around them.

The album is great, but it's just further proof that some bands should just abandon the LP format and release singles/EPs/download-only tracks, because it gets a bit shaky at times but the good songs are brilliant.

'2080' is one of the greatest songs ever. yes, EVER. sublime.

the rest of the album I'm not as enamoured with, but it's still good.

did this ever get a domestic release? surprised more people aren't digging it

ive only heard the single i thinkis called 2080 or something but i thought it was a bit bland

have you ever heard of punctuation or grammar or anything like that because i think maybe you should think about using it because its really good and stuff for getting your meaning across without seeming like a complete airhead

thought their bass player was in the wrong band (Manowar might have been better), but the show was great. excellent setlist, sweet vibe, good venue when you can see.

so Yeasayer are doing an early show and a late show again in Melb on Thurs 11th Feb. Early at Billboard, late at HiFi.

I bought tix to the early show, but am wary of what else might be playing that night that i may miss.

Last time it was potentially LCD Soundsystem/Hot Chip, and i think Foals.

Any ideas people?
