can someone delete this? i just almosed chundered my pie.
Mmahaha! rofl!
season+juwaan, I don't know where you're from, but prostitution is pretty much all over the place.. in main cities, anyway. Why would you want this deleted? Just don't open the thread. The thread title has a pretty clear indication of what it's content contains.
kings court has a website, tiny. its hilarious. its just handjobs and body slides but you can see a couple of pics even.
what is the purpose of this though? the gross context is degrading and unnecessary i have friends who are prozzies so thanks for the worly advice and if it was interesting convo i would not object but if you wanna rejoice in this type of smut be my guest.
s+j, pm. like a robot, speaking in code now.
Of course if you're referring to the degradation of women then yes, that is unnecessary and inappropriate, and I completely agree with you there. I was just trying to bring up what might be an interesting topic for discussion, in a proper manner which is not out of context or offensive. I'm interested in what people think about either legalising or decriminalising prostitution.
I don't understand s+j's objections. The bumping of this thread doesn't seem to be ''rejoicing in smut'', and lozz's question seems to be very respectful of the industry.
And for the record, lozz, I'm all for it. A regulated industry is a safer one.
Yeah.. I'm all for the legalisation.. not so much for decriminalising though. Pretty much for the reasons AH said; it is much safer to have it regulated.
I never understand the difference between legalisation and decriminalisation...
Brothels are a dead end. Most of the go-ahead women are working for themselves these days as private operators. They are very professional about it and treat it as a consulting business.
in this instance, decriminalisation would mean you wouldn't get charged (poss arrested) for being a worker or for engaging the work. you'd still have to deal with racket laws etc, if you ran an illegal brothel.
as far as I know, this debate is over - it is legal and regulated by NSW health (in NSW obs)
The difference is that the legalisation will regulate brothels making sure they are safe and healthy, etc and the workers are literally working legally, whereas decriminalisation is decriminalising prostitution completely; meaning it's also legal on the streets where women aren't under regulation.. They may be at risk of some sort of danger, not forced to look after their body (whether that be in regards to STIs or otherwise), etc etc. It just seems much safer to have it regulated.
Though to have it regulated brings about the question of how you would technically define prostitution (and therefore its legality). Obviously it's sex (or similar) for payment.. But what sort of payment? What if it was a girl who needed a place to stay, so she slept with a man in order to have a roof over her head (and hence that be her payment).. would that be considered prostitution?
Try the Sensual Downunder site. George and the girls can sort you out for this type of thing.
Brothels are legalised in Victoria, too. But street prostitution is not decriminalised.
This thread is SOOOoo not what I thought it would be.....
Most people should get over themselves. Go see prostitutes, don't go to see prostitutes, whatever!
It's strange that someone could say that they have friends who do a particular job as some kind of defence for their opinion, but discussion of their friends' job is smutty
Gotcha, lozz.
I found that weird as well, Modi. If I were one of the his/her prostitute friends, I'd be really offended.
This thread has a bit more insight..
