will there be anything else going on then??
any vintage shops my credit card should know about by the way????
They have nice churches. That should sort you out for Sunday's activities.
well I am catholic background so that will be nice then
barfs
you might like elizabeth street in croydon. there is a small collection of vintage/retro type shops there.
Leave for Berlin.
Go to the Grace Emily.
Adelaide Markets.
Get fucked up on cheap wine in China town.
Drive 45 minutes south and tour Mclaren Vale for awesome wines.
There's a pretty decent store on the outskirts of Kensington (?) called something Flamingo... Señor Flamingo maybe? I can't remember, but somebody from Adelaide could probably tell you. Ollie Graham runs it.
how did you know i want to live in berlin jimmy? have i met you before??
i want to take my morris minor and have a picnic somewhere too, cool
thanks everyone for your tip offs
so jealous. i was going to go to adelaide this weekend and see leader cheetah. then got 400$ phonebill and alas. not happning.
i had a $800 phone bill for 2 months from 3, i hate them. their plans are terrible. i feel your pain
The Grace is great, but don't expect there to be no smoke - everyone smokes indoors there.
Get out and head to McClaren Value or the Barossa. Buy up big and profit.
Head to Morialta (20 min drive) for a pretty nice walk/picnic/snake-bite.
hey dandan, are you kids all driving over (in the morris)? we'll take you up to the hills for a picnic - ange will undoubtedly take you op/vintage shopping to hype&seek and mint vintage. xbub
take alex's mum's dog down to brighton beach (or bring elliott over).
give leeshi a hug from me
i will be leaving for europe that day, so it's unlikely i will see them.
the op shops on rundle and off rundle are fkn awesome
Kill some people, chop the bodies up, hide them in drums of acid.
catch the tram to glenelg.
First things' first people. We're hitting Ying Chow.
go to east taste for the salt & pepper eggplant instead. most of the rest of the menu is the same but ying chow won't do s&p eggplant. but maybe i'm the only one that cares about that.
my friend does rock and roll DJing at the Cavern on weekends....
how excitment
i haven't been to adelaide since i was a kid
i can't wait to go tot he beach too
The otters at Adelaide Zoo are really friendly.
went to ying chow on the weekend. their spicy tofu freaking rocks.
its nice to hear people are excited to come to adelaide. everyone in adelaide wants to leave!!
Nadia's House Of Serendipity. Shop 2 4 Partridge St Glenelg is awesome. it is one of my fave 2nd hand shops.
market bizarre just off of rundle street has an amazing stash of vinyl.
Go sit in one of the Cafes in Rundle St and wind up with whiplash - dang!
so, this weekend....anything good happening?
adelaide folk??
does it even exist; anymore, still, ever...?...???.......
Apparently a reasonable number of Adelaide residents think the city is indeed a backwater. Maybe the new tram signals a turn around in the city's fortunes.
this weekend i just might dredge a dam
that'd be the haze of dope smoke that blankets the place.
good old adelaide, thinking big as always. we're a decent size city, but people here just treat it like a small town. adelaide needs to think big
currently posting from adelaide. so what's to do? I just got some delicious takeaway from A taste of Spice then?
are the pandas in adelaide yet?

WHAT'S ON?
fringe is on
clue to kalo are playing tonight at rocket bar, along with qua
ooooh. ta. qua.
what's the fringe east tce park stuff like? full'a Xkids and bogans?
Adelaide turns to shit from 1am. If you wear jeans that are reasonably fitted you will be called a faggot and people will try to fight you because of their pent up love for gay people. If you don't look like them and are holding hands with your girlfriend whilst walking down the street, you will be called a faggot. They will be in car with a group of their (male) friends.
Last week there was supposedly fights bewteen fringe-goers and clipsal 500 race-goers. That would've been a sight. Sadly, I was down the other end of the city watching Sonic Youth in the rain because people are idiots in Adelaide and will put a show on outside NEXT TO A PERFECTLY GOOD INDOOR VENUE.
Rocket bar also turns to shit after the bands, and the drink prices are insane.
THUNDERCLAW are playing with LIKE LEAVES tomorrow night at the Ed Castle (west Currie Street). $5. Starts round 10ish.
I love this city, don't get me wrong.
I understand. When the F1 or Clipsal 500 is on, I always think of that Devil's Cabaret song 'Adelaide' though.
Yes this happens everywhere. I love it.
Things to do in Adelaide mid november? Any good art exhibs?
Ed Castle tonight!
Assassination Collective Launch!
Get there early.. cos the night has been double booked... so double the bands!!!!
