Anyone seen this? A TV show about the advertising industry set in 1960- got interested in because I was mistakenly told it was HBO. Showing Foxtel, or at least it has been. I aint seen it- hopefully make it to free to air so I can judge for myself if it is any good.
I thought this was going to be about Mad Men. As in men who are mad as hatters.
WOOO HOOO OOOOOO
AZOOOOOOOOO WWWWWWOOOOOOPPP
NNOOOOOOOOOOPPPP ZZOOOOOOOOOOP
WOOOOOOOOOO
Well considering the rip-roaring success the fred has had thus far feel free to turn it into a tribute to screaming Lord Sutch.
PS - I am in love with you fe.
Trammy, I love you too, but I feel the need to also see other people. I hope that's okay ;)
Paulie, are you drooling?
fe - I also need some space...... ;)
Love's a strong word, for me.
Ha.
I am mad (but only for you............).
Lovely.
Hahaha that film is gloriously bad. But I do ride in cars like that.
Chris O'Donell and Drew Barrymore spells quality in my books! Just noticed how their names are on the poster- looks like they got it mixed up.
I've seen it
Ya shoulda spelled it right! ;)
I'm looking forward to this show coming to Australia hopefully.
link.
i watched it when it was on austar. its good
i just finished the last episode. it took a fair while to really get going but i'm hooked now. looking forward to what direction it takes in the second season.
apparently it's going to be set 2 years after this. the series creator's plan is for it to chronicle every second year up til 1970.
currently awaiting series 1 to be delivered to me via torrent.
2 eps in, really innaresting so far.
not sure where it's gonna go, but i love how it's shot.
this is sensational.
9 eps in, utterly addicted. waiting for the rest of the series is killing me.

how funny, i never thought i'd have a reason to watch 'The Real Cancun'
sadly only listed as 1 ep for mad men, so she's unlikely to be back.

i love this show. awesome, dark undercurrents. such a seemingly simple time, yet so much hidden behind closed doors.
finale aired in the states yet?
online now
GET FUCKED CAMPBELL
pete was TRYING to do the right thing; he obviously really admires don, and respects him. something you can't say about duck. and the final shot of him in his office was chilling. trudy sure didn't get his meaning, did she?
excellent finale i thought. can't wait for it to come back. but i do wonder if they'll simply skip forward to 64, thus dealing with the ramifications of the jfk assassination rather than the actual event itself.
waiting for series 3 is gonna be torture.
The fact that I can't find news anywhere as to when the next season kicks off probably means it's months away, eh?
Damn all of these addictive cable dramas.
there's some press that matthew weiner wants too much cashola and lionsgate are going to flick him in favour of aaron sorkin.
it could be a while, yeah.
blog about the final episode
apparently it hasn't been renewed for season 3 yet. gasp.
that's frightening.
I really don't know whether to recommend this show to my Dad or not. He was in advertising in the mid '80s to '90s and I wonder if it may strike a little close to home.
