I liked Coal, but this is these tracks are really good. It's funny, I hadn't thought about the Devasatations for so long, it's surprising and exciting to hear something new.
'coal' was one of my favourite albums of 2005, the bad seeds were obvious, but they still had their own take on it. i'm looking forward to hearing the new album and seeing them live if they ever head to the west coast.
they surpassed support status at King Tuts a few months ago...my Yes U bag cost 2 pounds.

Two tracks from it on their MySpace.
my friend in scotland received one of their ceedees to review - he said it was rubbish.
bad contribution.
I didn't like the last album all that much, though it had its moments.
This, however, is gold.
i'll find out which album he was listening to. he has pish taste in music anyway.

that's some pretty htrk-esque cover art.
Nigel Yang's been playing keys with them, as well.
Is this out? When? Who likes it?
It's very, very good.
It should have come out on the weekend.
It's weird, but good. Not my thing, entirely.
Thanks guys. I thought more people might be raving about this.
Or otherwise have an opinion.
I'm raving as much as possible for someone who doesn't usually groove on ghostly Eno atmospheres. But yeah, I expected more hysteria.
Fuck yes. Thanks for htis
still procrastinating as to whether I should get this.
need to do the listen thing.
If anyone missed it, the M+N review is here.
Shaun you will get this album or I will throw things at you!

i hope that Q is retorical
Black Ice reminds me of Gavin Friday.
I think 'Oh Me, Oh My' has become my favourite song on this.
It's so sexy.
Where on earth would I be without your love, darling?
I'd still be sleeping in those shoes
I'd still be sleeping on those stairs
I'd still be sleeping with those girls, for whom I never really cared
Let's go back inside
Let's go back to bed
Let's turn off the lights
Let's pretend we're de-ead...
What's with the no 'Coal' love? I dug it.
I just thought it was so-so.
Only heard ''Rosa'' so far...thought it was pretty shit...
