Casuarina Sands is my favourite B side ever.
They are also pretty good with their other songs. Discuss?

the songs on that augogo comp are really rad.
i saw them live once, though, and it was like whitlams only less irritatingly smug and more irritatingly bland indie shit.
bummer
funnily enough i was listening to the new weather on the way to work this morning. enjoyed immensely with fresh ears. especially the illin' guitar from matt mcbeath. new album, with songs recorded from like 4 years ago, any day now...
simon wooldridge certainly has a way with words.
i dig el mopa's wonkyness if that makes sense to anyway. drunken swaggery but not in an attitudal way.
wow, i certainly don't have a way with words there...
wonkyness is a good way to describe el mopa.
tenderhook is a great song. don't think i've ever seen them live, oddly enough.
filterfeed you're in melbs right? the mopes are down in early december (double attack with kid cornered shows), will keep you posted...
excellent! thanks trafficsounds.
I used to enjoy the new weather.. but I haven't listened to it in fucking years. I'm with Unvisible on the live front, nullifying.
playing their first show in sydney in about a year. yowzers!
el mopa + princess one point five + wifey + the high highs. thursday sept 25 @ the hoey
El Mopa need to appear more often so that people can buy their cd's. Good luck getting them anywhere else. I LOVE THEM.
I like the way they have developed their wonkyness into high or late-wonkyness. I can't wait for the wonkyness renaissance that this gig will be.
Listen to Moving South here
I can't wait to hear them live again. Like a post blowie massage for the brain.
i can't wait either! their set at the xmas cd launch last year was electrifying.
thread for gig here
I used to play with this band at one point. I endorse this band/venue or live concert event.
Um, I still don't know what to make of unvisible's comment of a year ago. Are you sure you didn't just accimadentally see the Whitlams? I don't think you could ever in any eon of any major geological period mistake one for the other...
Yes that confused me.
bumpages.
and that's it for Mr Bon.. damn fine show.. new record sounding fucking awesome
