I've been there, well, for many MANY years, the only job i've ever had, and basically my position doesn't exist anymore, so I could have gone the promotion route and be earning solid money but working full time, OR I could man up and try something new with my life.
Manning up feels good.

Fuck, how good does it feel looking at a file you've been working on for 5 years not knowing how to resolve it, and knowing you now don't have to care... Pretty good.
